The route then takes us through captivating, contorted lava flows that have emerged from a myriad of different craters and fissures.nnAfter a Laugarhraun lava field hike, delicious hot spring bathing offers a uniquely pleasurable experience. Remember to bring your swimwear if you want to take a dip in the natural hot spring.
