    We will meet in the Solheimajokull parking lot. The driving time from Reykjavik is approximately 2.5 hours. Drive on Route 1 along the south coast, then turn left onto Route 221. After about 5 minutes of driving, you will reach the starting point.

  • Proper hiking boots are required for this glacier hike to ensure safety and comfort on the ice. The boots must have good ankle support and sturdy soles so that crampons can be securely attached. If you do not have suitable hiking boots, rentals are available on site for u20ac13 per pair. Please note that sneakers, running shoes, or soft footwear are not suitable for glacier hiking. Wearing proper boots is essential for participating in the activity safely.
  • The minimum age is provided as a guideline. Anyone with a minimum shoe size of EU 34 can safely participate in the glacier trek.
