Arnarstapi is famous for its dramatic coastal cliffs, which are adorned with unique rock formations and bird colonies. The most prominent of these rock formations is Gatklettur, a massive stone arch that stands as a natural monument on the coastline.

Seal Watching at Ytri TungannYtri Tunga Beach is especially known for its resident seal population. It's one of the best places in Iceland to observe seals in their natural habitat. The beach is home to a colony of harbor seals that can often be seen sunbathing on the rocks and swimming in the surrounding waters.
