The Nascas stood out for their advanced technology and hydraulic engineering, building an impressive network of aqueducts, canals and wells that allowed them to permanently supply water to the farmlands. This set of aqueducts, canals and wells were called puquios, a Quechua word meaning fountain, spring or well.nnFree time 15 minutes.

Continuing the tour we leave the city towards Cahuachi, located 28 kilometers from Nazca.nCahuachi means u201cplace where the seers live.u201d It is a citadel built in adobe, where ceremonial pyramids stand out: the Great Pyramid, the Great Temple, the Stepped Temple and the Mounds. It is located on a sloping terrain facing the Nazca lines.nnFree time 15 minutes.
