Upon arrival, you’ll have 1-2 hours of free time to explore the beach before heading to Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Inside the Aquarium, hear the inspirational life story of Winter the Dolphin from the hit movie Dolphin Tale. See Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays, sharks, and meet other rehabilitated marine animals. Feed a stingray, watch a dolphin show, and have your photo taken with a bottlenose dolphin. You can also take a behind-the-scenes tour of the animal hospital and visit the marine theater to watch footage of the aquarium’s team rescuing and treating injured animals.

You won’t want to miss hearing about the legacy and life story of Winter, the world-famous dolphin whose story inspired the hit movie Dolphin Tale. After losing her tail in a crab trap, she was rescued by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and fitted with a prosthetic tail. Winter’s incredible story has been seen on Oprah, NBC’s The Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, and others.

After your trip to the Aquarium, take a complimentary ride on the Jolly Trolley to Clearwater’s historic downtown district where Winter’s Dolphin Tale Adventure is located. This fun and educational exhibit brings 3D to the next level as it takes you inside the movie for a completely unique experience. Here, you’ll find rebuilt scenes from the movie, life-size images, and real props used onset in Dolphin Tale.

In your free time, take a stroll down Clearwater Beach’s famous Pier 60, browse local souvenir shops for a t-shirt or postcard, or simply relax with your toes in the soft, white sand.
