The evening begins at Walt Disney World Resort where you’ll see an award-winning, life-size Gingerbread display. At Gaylord Palms Resort, chill out at the ICE! exhibit and sip hot cocoa as you explore a winter wonderland with more than two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures and two-story ice slides. Finish the evening with a magical stop at Disney’s famous town of Celebration to watch the snowfall and take in the splendor of the holiday season.
The evening begins with pickup from your selected location in Orlando or Kissimmee. You’ll head to Walt Disney World Resort to enjoy the holiday decorations and see life-size gingerbread houses at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
These aware-winning gingerbread displays are larger than life, standing at 16-feet high! Made fresh with a classic gingerbread recipe from Austria, these creations use 1,050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and it takes more than 400 hours just to bake the gingerbread! There are so many fantastic things to see! Look for hidden Mickey’s inside the gingerbread and icing.
At Gaylord Palms, discover a winter wonderland with more than 2 million pounds of ice sculptures carved by hand and five slippery ice slides that are two stories tall. With over 1,500 fluorescent and fiber optic lights frozen within the ice in over 18,000 square feet of space, the ICE! exhibit creates a magical holiday experience like no other!
When you arrive everyone in your party will receive oversized parkas, but you’ll still want to bundle up! ICE! will make anyone forget they’re in the Sunshine State. Visitors should beware this is no artificial winter simulation. Temperatures inside the ICE! exhibit are kept at a brisk 9 degrees Fahrenheit to preserve the ice.
Finish the evening with a magical stop at Disney’s famous town of Celebration. During the holidays, Celebration is transformed into a beautiful holiday spectacle by thousands of twinkling white lights and a stunning Christmas tree display. You’ll have 2-3 hours of free time to spend at your leisure.
Take in the splendor of the holiday season and make the most of your time at Celebration. Do some last-minute holiday shopping, have dinner at one of many restaurants, go ice-shaking, ride in a horse-drawn carriage, and watch the snowfall on Market Street every hour on the hour from 6 pm to 9 pm.
