We depart from the hotel 30 minutes before midnight and drive to Paltuding Area. Travelers will start the hike around midnight (approx. 2:00 AM) to witness the world-famous blue fire phenomenon inside Mount Ijenu2019s crater. It usually takes 2 hours hiking. Accompanied tour guide, guests trek up the volcano in the cool night air and carefully descend into the crater to see the mesmerizing natural blue flames caused by burning sulfur gas.
