City Tour by Truck
Puerto Plata is a city with a lot of culture, history and a diversity of attractions. One of the most relevant is the Isabel de Torres Mountain (2565 feet or 800 square meters), which we will reach by truck. Enjoy the beautiful flowers in the botanical garden at the summit of the mountain.
Go back in time and learn about the history of the Fort San Felipe. The fort is located at the end of the pedestrian walk of the ocean front boulevard, and you will be enchanted by the beauty of the landscapes and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The historic center is located in the most emblematic part of the city. The guide will explain about the city’s history, the cathedral and many other fun facts. You will have the freedom to walk around for approximately 45 minutes.
Lunch is included at a local ranch. You will get to try our famous mamajuana and have the opportunity to purchase all your souvenirs.

Accompanied by our guide, who will be responsible of transmitting your vast knowledge of our culture, going to the back of the countryside heart we will visit the old melasa bread factory, a typical house of artisans, visiting their home and learning their way of life.nnYou will explore a tobacco plantation and the manufacturing process of artisanal cigars, enjoy beautiful panoramic views and visit the organic factory cacao plantation where you can learn the whole procedure of chocolate and taste it.nA visit step of a cheese factory belonging to a traditional family at the Imbert community where we'll also visit the park.
