Our office is conveniently located near the public dock in Puerto Jiménez, offering free parking and secure luggage storage for your comfort.

    Day 1 u2013 Boat to Sirena Station & Rainforest HikennDepart from the Public Dock in Puerto Jimu00e9nez at 5:20 a.m. The 1.5-hour boat ride crosses the Golfo Dulce and Pacific coast, often revealing dolphins, sea turtles, and seabirds.nnArrive at Sirena Beach, disembark on the sand (water shoes recommended), and check in at Sirena Ranger Station. Begin your first guided walk through the rainforest in search of tapirs, monkeys, macaws, toucans, and coatis.nnAt 11:30 a.m., enjoy a buffet-style lunch with typical Costa Rican dishes; vegetarian and vegan options available on request.nnAfter a short rest, continue with an afternoon hike on nearby trails, exploring river areas and open fields with frequent wildlife activity.nnIf weather allows, enjoy a tropical sunset before returning to the station. Dinner is offered at 6:00 p.m. as an optional service for an additional cost, followed by an overnight stay at Sirena Biological Station with shared rooms, bunk beds, mosquito nets, and solar power.

    Day 2 u2013 Morning Hike & Return to Puerto Jimu00e9neznnWake up early for a sunrise walk at 5:00 a.m., one of the best times to spot wildlife such as monkeys, tapirs, and birds beginning their day. At 7:00 a.m., enjoy your included breakfast at the station, then continue exploring different trails around Sirena with your local guide.nnAt 11:30 a.m., enjoy an included buffet-style lunch before preparing for departure. Around 12:45 p.m., board the boat back to Puerto Jimu00e9nez, arriving at approximately 2:30 p.m.nnYouu2019ll have time to collect your luggage at our office or relax before continuing your travels. Dinner from the previous day is also included in this package.

  • NOT ALLOWED: Food or drinks of any kind, cigarettes, vapes, single-use plastic bottles, firearms, sharp objects, or pocket knives are not allowed in Corcovado National Park. Please do not attempt to bring any of these items into the park.
  • What to Bring: Closed hiking shoes, sandals, water in reusable bottles, a small towel and soap for the shower, enough clothing for both days, lightweight clothes, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
  • When we arrive at Sirena Beach in Corcovado, there is no dock, so please donu2019t forget your water shoes or strap-on sandals for disembarking from the boat u2014 they are also very important for walking around Sirena Station.
  • Sirena Biological Station is not a hotel or hostel. It features platforms with individual bunk-style beds, and provides blankets, pillows, and mosquito nets.
