The guides are very informative and entertaining; they will tell you facts about the area, stories from the community, fairytales and everything you would like to know. When you arrive, there is a short walk to the ice caves, and your guides continue to inform you about the great Vatnajökull glacier. Once in the cave, you will get a good time to explore, take pictures and just enjoy yourself on your vacation.

    We meet at Ju00f6kulsu00e1rlu00f3n and travel from there for about 30-40 minutes on our Super Jeeps to Breiu00f0amerkurju00f6kull. Where we will visit the everchanging Ice caves.

    The ice caves are formed naturally and each fall the guides go u201cice cave huntingu201d, looking for new caves and see if any of the old ones are still there. So, the structure and condition can vary significantly between years. Each day, the guides decide which cave they will visit, all depending on the weather and, of course, the safety of the guests.
