Nguna Island Full Day Hike and Snorkeling Adventure from Port Vila Vanuatu
Experience Efate’s outer islands with a stunning half day trek on Nguna and an afternoon swim at Pele.
At Nguna, you have a choice which walk you do (you must choose your walk before you depart). The Volcano Walk takes you atop one of Nguna’s extinct volcanoes, Mt Marou (472m), where you will be rewarded with sweeping views across the Shepherd Islands to the north, and south to Efate. Parts of the walk are steep and it takes 3 ½ hours on average. Or just take an easier Village Walk, adapted to your fitness level, to explore either upland or coastal villages.
After the morning walk, enjoy a buffet lunch by the beach on neighbouring Pele Island and then swim and snorkel the lagoon or reef.
