Permanent residence was in the bay until 1968, but in recent years it has become a hangout for those who are looking for peace and quiet. The bay is sparse and famous for its natural beauty.n A road was built to Vu00f6u00f0lavu00edk in 1940 and it still serves its role as the main transport route to it.nnu200bWhen driving down to Vu00f6u00f0lavu00edk, a small stream flows alongside the road and forms beautiful waterfalls.nnWe drive out on the black sand and enjoy the energy from the ocean. When we have had a coffee, we head back to Eskifju00f6ru00f0ur.
