The journey begins with a private pick-up either from Uyuni Airport or your hotel, depending on your arrival.nnYou will be welcomed by your professional English-speaking guide, who will accompany you throughout the experience. From there, you will travel in a comfortable private 4WD vehicle, specially equipped for the unique conditions of the region, ensuring both safety and a smooth journey.

The visit begins with a stop at the Train Cemetery, one of the most iconic sites in Uyuni.nnHere, you will explore a collection of old locomotives and railway wagons that date back to Boliviau2019s mining era, now resting in the open desert. The journey continues with a visit to Incahuasi Island, a unique rocky outcrop located in the middle of the salt flats.nnThe island is covered with giant cacti, some of them several meters tall, and features ancient petrified coral formations, reminding us that this area was once covered by a prehistoric lake.nnUpon arrival, you will have time to walk along marked trails, gradually ascending to higher viewpoints where you can enjoy panoramic views over the endless white expanse of the Salar.nnIt is a perfect moment to explore at your own pace, take photographs, and appreciate the contrast between the cacti, the rock formations, and the vast surrounding landscape.

After enjoying lunch in the middle of the salt flats, the journey continues towards the impressive Tunupa Volcano, located along the northern edge of the Salar.nnThis area offers a different perspective of the region, combining landscapes with local culture. Along the way, it is possible to observe pink flamingos in nearby lagoons, as well as herds of llamas and vicuu00f1as moving freely across the Altiplano.nnThe visit also includes stops at traditional villages and small local museums, where you can learn about the history, customs, and daily life of the Andean communities that have inhabited this region for generations.nnIt is a more cultural and authentic part of the journey, adding depth and connection to the experience.

You can enjoy a spectacular view of the sunrise from the campsite, when you wake up you will be waiting for your delicious breakfast prepared by the guide.nnAfter enjoying a local breakfast, we return to Uyuni.
