Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft with a valid driveru2019s license. However, drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, must take the test and obtain a Temporary Florida Boateru2019s License. A link to a boater's safety test will be included in your confirmation email and is required for obtaining a Temporary Florida Boateru2019s License. In the interest of safety, it is recommended that all drivers take the test and obtain the license.n- Persons operating the boat must bring a valid ID for age verification.n- No grills permitted on boat.
