Overview
During forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku), guests move slowly and intentionally through a natural setting while gently shifting attention away from thoughts and toward direct sensory experience. Rather than hiking or covering distance, the focus is on slowing down, pausing often, and noticing details like the feel of the air, textures of trees, patterns of light, sounds of wind or birds, and subtle scents in the environment. The guide may invite moments of stillness where guests simply stand, sit, or lean against trees, allowing the nervous system to relax and the mind to quiet. Breath naturally slows, awareness expands, and the experience becomes less about doing and more about simply being present in the forest.
